KEY WEST WRITERS GUILD ANNUAL SHORT STORY CONTEST
2008 CONTEST RULES (Entry form link at bottom of page)
1. 3500 word limit.
2. Put title of story and page number on every page.
3. Do not put author’s name on any page of the manuscript.
4. Fill out the Entry Form with the title, word count, author’s name, address, telephone number, signature, and your e-mail address if you have one.
5. Submit the entry form and a check for $15 (for each entry) made out to: KWWG Short Story Contest. (Please note that the entry fee for High School students is $5.)
6. Please submit four (4) copies of each story.
7. Submissions may be brought to a Guild meeting on April 11, April 25 or May 10, 2008. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month upstairs at Kelly’s Restaurant, 303 Whitehead St, Key West, 10am to noon.

10. Deadline is May 10. No late entries will be accepted.
11. Winners will be announced the last week of May and posted on KWWG website.
12. 1st place is $150, 2nd place $100, 3rd place, $75, and two honorable mention prizes $15 each. The two top winning stories will be published locally. All submissions will be considered for publication in the next KWWG anthology.
